Class for those who want to work on it at the shop or need a little extra help.  

10 am - 1 pm on the 1st Saturday of the month.

Each month we will complete a section of the quilt.  You may be making a lot of blocks or you may be making a few.  Coming to class will get you started, but you most likely will not finish each section before leaving class.  The finish quilt measures approximately 84" x 96".  Fabrics will be similar to those in the photo.

Snow People Block of the Month

We are starting this great "Snow People" block of the month on June 14, 2014!  It is a PICK UP/MAIL OUT only!  No class will be taught.  Pick up will be twice a month, the 2nd & 4th Saturdays.  This way it will be finished be fore the holidays!

Halloween Haunting BOM

Begins November 3, 2012

1-4 pm

This project is for the intermediate to advanced quilter.  Mostly machine piecing with a touch of applique accents make up this darling Halloween quilt.  There is an option for making it larger if you're up for the challenge!

2013 BOM - A Year to Crow About

Begins in January!

Space is limited and Mail Orders are welcome!

Each month features a Crow and blocks depicting that particular month.  Each month for six (6) months, you will receive fabric to make 2 blocks.  The 7th month will be your borders & binding.  Cost will be $30 each month for 7 months and includes the patterns each month, fabric for the top and binding.  This will be a sit & sew class or feel free to pick your kit up and sew on your own.

Wendy has designed a very pretty sampler which will begin July 14th and will run for 9 months.  You'll pay $10 when you sign up, then each month that you return you'll receive the next one FREE!  In-store specials just for those attending the class!  Optional finishing kit (star sashing, border & binding) will be available for $55.00.  Quantities limited.  Layaway available.

Sariah has designed a great patriotic row quilt which will run for 7 months.  The quilt is mostly mde up of pieced blocks, but features a large eagle and stars that are to be appliuqed in the technique of your choice.

This 64" square quilt combines piecing and wool felt applique in a quilt you will treasure forever.  It will run for seven months so you can have it done in time for this year's Christmas season.  You will make two pieced blocks and two appliqued blocks each month.  Kit includes all fabric, felted wool and pattern for the quilt top.

New Block of Month + Halloween Sale

We are starting a new Block of the Month. It will be on the second Saturday of every month, beginning November 12. These blocks come from a book called The Circut Rider Quilt, which is $24.95.

The book is based on an antique quilt, and has lots of different setting ideas. Each month's block will be $3.

Of the six blocks below, five are needle-turned applique, and one is machine appliqued. The author of the book did her quilt with the freezer paper method and machine. You can do this with whatever method of applique makes you comfortable.



On the first class at 10:00 a.m., Sariah will offer a FREE class on needle turn applique as well as demonstrating the freezer paper method.

BOM & Laps Club

Did you know that our Block of the Month & Laps from Fats Club both start this Saturday, February 13th? If you didn't, now you do!

Here is where you can find information on the BOM. It's simply a demonstration only. Pick up your block and find out how it goes together. Then you can head home and put it together.

Here is where you can find information on the Laps from Fats club. Bring your sewing machine & basic sewing kit. We do have kits available or you can put together your own fabrics.

New Class Schedule

We FINALLY have our new class schedule done! You can pick up a copy at the shop, or e-mail us and we'll e-mail you a copy! We're going "Back to the Basics"! Hand Quilting, hand applique, machine quilting, quilter's math, etc. with a few quilts thrown in there as well!


New Block of the Month - Around the World in 30 Blocks

2 different colorways - 30's Repros (similar to those in the photo on left) or Civil War feel (right - please note that it's not finished YET!)

We'll be doing 12 of these blocks or you can do all 30! The sign up fee is $20 which includes your finishing kit. Then each month you'll get 1 block for $2 each. If you choose to do all 30 blocks, the sign up fee is $40 and then you'll get 2 or 3 blocks for $2 each every month.

If you can't come to the shop, you can still participate. We'll mail you the kits each month. You'll pay $2/block + $0.75 postage.



Monthly Skinnies
Starts January 16th

These ever-so-cute 14" x 28" mini quilts are fun and easy to make. The monthly kit fee of $10.00 covers the class fee & the fabrics, including binding. You'll be able to finish each quilt during the class time. Every quarter you'll need the $9 pattern that has 3 months in it.
